It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the Third EurAsian Congress on Emergency Medicine (EACEM 2012) which will be held in Rixos Sungate Port Royal Hotel, Antalya, Turkey on 19-22 September, 2012.
EACEM is the biennial international congress of the Emergency Medicine Association of Turkey (EMAT) in collaboration with SUNY Downstate, NY, USA,the Society for Emergency Medicine in Singapore (SEMS), with endorsement by the International Federation for Emergency Medicine (IFEM)The Ministry of Health of Turkey.
As evidenced by the success of the last congress, we believe that EACEM 2012 will again offer an excellent opportunity for academicscientific exchange among the emergency physiciansworkers all over the world. Topics will be presented through state-of-the-art lectures, panel discussions, workshops, free communicationsoral, postervideo presentations. The congress will also include a comprehensive trade exhibition on the latest technologies, pharmaceuticalssystems relevant to Emergency Medicine.

Turkey, a bridging country between AsiaEuropea cross-road of civilations, has an original ancient history. Antalya, one of the well known touristic cities of Turkey, Middle EastEurope with uniquefascinating naturalhistorical properties, is well connected to major airportsother places of interest. The wonderful climate in Antalya during that time of the year offers an excellent opportunity for both educationvacation.

Official Language
The official language of the Congress is English.

All participants in the congress will require a valid passporta visa for visiting Turkey. Please contact your nearest Turkey Embassy/Consulate for this purpose. Participants from those countries where there is no Turkish diplomatic representation can obtain their visa at the airport on arrival to Turkey.

The local currency is Turkish Lira(TL). The exchange rate changes daily. Foreign currency can be exchanged at the airport, banks, hotelsexchange offices. International Credit Cards are widely accepted.

Bank business hours are from Monday to Friday, 09:00-16:30. Banks are closed on SaturdaySundayPublic Holidays. All banks have similar exchange rates.

Based on the data provided by well known statistical institutes of the world for major cities, Antalya is one of the few with a minimum amount of crime. You can walk through every part of the city without any problems.

The Organizing Committee can accept no responsibility for accidentsdamage to the private property of participants. Please make your own arrangements for health insuranceany other insurance desired.

Time Zone
Turkish Standard Time is 2 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time.

General Household electric power is 220 volts.
